World Dental Forum 2019

Hong Kong – 16 October 2019 – Organised by Modern Dental Group Limited (“the Group”), the international dentistry event, World Dental Forum 2019 was another resounding success this year. Held in Shenzhen on 14 and 15 October, 2019, the fifth World Dental Forum was an exciting event that attracted over 600 dental experts from around the world together to exchange academic knowledge and technological know-how.

 

This year, ten world-renowned speakers from Australia, Canada, China, Germany, France and United States, were invited to share their valuable insights on the most popular topic in the dental (field “smart dentistry”). In total, seven lectures and three panel discussion sessions were hosted over the course of the two-day forum, covering a broad range of topics such as Digital Biomimetics, Implant Dentistry, Treatment for Restorations, etc. The Group was honoured to have Mr. Godfrey Ngai, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Modern Dental Group, Professor Thomas Flemmig, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong, and Professor Wang Xing, Former President of the Chinese Stomatological Association, to address the opening speech.

 

Mr. Godfrey Ngai expressed in his opening speech, “As one of the stakeholders in the global dental industry, Modern Dental upholds its mission of giving back to the society. Founded in 1986 in Hong Kong, Modern Dental has reached out to the world on the back of the Mainland over the past 33 years. To date, Modern Dental has become a multi-national company and the world’s largest dental prosthesis provider. We are also honored to have built close partnerships with so many industry leaders. Years of network, experience and industry knowledge accumulated allow us to organize this dental forum and gather experts across the globe to Shenzhen, to exchange and share views with the key industry players from the Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau. We see it as a valuable experience and a chance for us to fulfill social responsibility as a multinational enterprise ought to.”

 

Commenting on the Forum’s great success, Mr. Ngai added, “I am grateful to see experts and guests from all around the world gathering here today. The World Dental Forum has become a grand event of the dentistry industry over the years and I am particularly thankful to the overseas and local dentists and experts for your support over the years.”
