World Dental Forum 2017

Hong Kong – 15 November 2017 - Organised by Modern Dental Group Limited (“the Group”) and supported by 8 co-organisers and 2 academic co-organisers, the international dentistry event, World Dental Forum 2017, was another great success this year. The fourth World Dental Forum was held in Beijing on 30 and 31 October 2017, with an aim to promote academic sharing and exchange of technological know-how within the global dental industry. The Group chose Beijing as the venue for the World Dental Forum 2017 and brought together over 800 dental experts to this fascinating capital city.

This year, ten world-renowned speakers from countries namely, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, France, China, Germany, Hong Kong, Netherlands and the USA were invited to share their insights on the industry. A total of nine lectures and three panel discussion sections were hosted in the two-day forum, covering a broad range of topics that focuses on the industry development such as Digital Dentistry, Implantology and Aesthetic Dentistry. The Group was also honoured to have Professor Thomas Flemmig, Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Hong Kong, and President Yu Guang Yan, Chinese Stomatological Association, to address the opening speech.

Commenting on the great success, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, Mr. Godfrey Ngai said, “I am grateful for the support provided by our co-organisers and impressed by the great effort and time our staff had invested in this forum. Without their help, the forum could never achieve such success. The forum has well served its purpose of bridging industry specialists from around the world and providing them a platform to share and exchange ideas in the dental industry. On top of that, the forum has also attained the goal to increase the exposure of the emerging China market by engaging more local market players and dentistry experts. Founded in Hong Kong, and being one of the major global players who has strong presence in five continents, it is our obligation to contribute towards the China market through education and bringing in international standards. With the strong network we have built in the international market, experiences accumulated from years of hard work and solid relationship with the academic expertise, the Group will continue to bring in the required knowledge, technologies and skills to nurture the China market. We are confident that in the near future, the China market can grow and develop into one of the leading dental prosthetic markets in the world.”
